Dr Syed Naqvi is a multi award winning Child and Adolescent psychiatrist. He is an internationally published author of journal articles and books. He is a founding member and Medical Director at the Neurodevelopmental Consultants Clinic (NDC). With over 25 years experience assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders. Dr Naqvi is one of the few doctors in the UK with expertise in assessing and managing Neurodevelopmental disorders across the age range from children & adolescents to adults. He is passionate about helping young people and adults with Neurodevelopmental disorders achieve their true potential and supporting the families and carers that look after them. He is the Medical Lead of Hull and East Riding Neurodiversity Service and Clinical Director of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. He is a member of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent psychiatry (CAP), Royal College of Psychiatrists.
He trained at some of the most prestigious Mental Health institutes in the UK including the Maudsley hospital, King’s College Hospital and Bethlem Royal Hospital under eminent psychiatrists like Professor Michael Rutter, Professor Janet Treasure, Professor David Veale and Professor Marios Adamou.
