Frequently Asked Question

We do not have a waiting list. All our assessments are face-to-face. No part of our assessment with clients is done virtually. The only time the client will interact virtually with anyone will be when we give the feedback after the MDT discussion.

We usually conduct our clinics from 6-8pm on Wednesday and 3-5pm on Friday and between 10pm-2pm on Saturday. If these times are not suitable, we would be happy to provide additional appointment slots.
You are required to make a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the assessment or treatment to book an appointment. The remainder of the balance will be paid 48 hours before the appointment. You may pay for the appointment by bank transfer or cash.
If an appointment is cancelled with more than 48hrs notice a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is made within 48hrs of the appointment a charge of 25% of the total fee will be applied. If you do not attend for your pre-arranged appointment, you will incur a charge of 50% of the total fee.

Due to national shortages of ADHD medication, we have taken the decision not to initiate anyone on medication. However, we are aware other providers might have a difference stance on it and may wish to explore other clinicians or providers.
Yes. You will receive a comprehensive diagnostic report by email following your assessment. We aim to get this to you within 10 working days where possible.
NHS services vary as to whether they will prescribe or provide interventions based on a report from a different service. However, our assessments and reports are of the highest standard available. Therefore, NHS services can have the upmost confidence in our findings.
Yes. All our assessments are strictly confidential. It is your decision if you wish to share the completed report with your GP or any other 3rd party. If there are concerns about your safety, or that of anyone else, we might need to consider sharing certain information to get extra support. However, this would be discussed with you first.
This service is run by specialist NHS neurodevelopmental consultants. They have been responsible for developing national standards for assessing ADHD and autism. Our assessments and reports meet or surpass NHS standards at every level.
We do not envisage any risks to completing an assessment. In the event that a diagnosis is awarded this can bring access to important forms of support.

We consider school observations to be an essential part of the assessment process for children who are younger than 12 years old. Therefore, assessments have a higher fee for this age group to reflect the additional work involved. Over the age of 12 years, we consider school observations to be beneficial, but optional.

Once you have paid your deposit, we will ask for the details of your child's school. We will then contact your child's school to arrange an appropriate time to complete the school observations.
If a school observation is required, we will try to complete this as soon as possible. We aim to complete this within two weeks. We would then complete the face-to-face appointments at your soonest convenience. We expect that with school observations we can complete the whole assessment within 2-3 weeks. Without school observations, we can complete the assessment at your earliest convenience.

Yes. We can assess for both conditions at the same time. If you wish to choose this option, the total cost would be each assessment price combined, minus a 20% discount. For example, if an adult wanted both a standard ADHD and Autism assessment the total cost would be £3192 (£1995+£1995=£3990 – 20% = £3192).
